Ternan Energy confirmed as keynote speaker at the UK's first Renewables Academy course in offshore wind

The UK Renewables Academy is delighted to announce that Ternan Energy's MD, Mark Finch, shall be the keynote speaker covering ground/soil risk, site investigation and the impact of the seabed on facilities design and construction for its four day offshore wind programme next month.

"Securing an adviser of Ternan Energy’s quality and experience as a keynote speaker is an exciting development for the UK Renewables Academy", said UK Renewables Director, Liam McIvor. "Mark's insights into ground conditions and the impact it can have on projects will be of significant interest to our delegates. Mark's practical experience on some of the UK's largest offshore wind projects will no doubt make for an extremely interesting seminar. We look forward to welcoming Ternan Energy to Teesside University next month."

Mark Finch commented “Ternan Energy is honoured to be asked to support the first Renewables Academy course. We look forward to discussing seabed risks and opportunities and how these can be managed throughout the project lifecycle”.

The course has been specifically designed and developed alongside leading industry professionals to give participants an understanding to every area of the sector. The course is also applicable to those who are experienced in one particular area and want to have a better understanding of the wider industry.
